I'm not sure if many of you know about this festival this weekend. It's pretty poorly advertised here in mayo (unless you live in the areas involved). But since I've suddenly got part of this weekend off work, I plan on going and I'm telling everyone!!

Yeah it clashed with Brewsweplate for us, love to be going down. Some great beers there.

To be honest I didn't check since I thought I was working all weekend.
But I'm surprised nothing was mentioned by the organizers or breweries or someone on the forum too. The easterfest/alltech/craft beer festival was talked about ages before hand and had built up a bit of a hype. That being said, I live in mayo and none of my friends knew anything about the pirate queen festival until I mentioned it this week....I guess I'll just have to drink enough for everyone!! Enjoy brewsweplate, sounds like fun too.
