I recently visited the Roadside Tavern at Lisdoonvarna and had a brief conversation with Peter Curtin who mentioned that he was about to brew a new beer 'Hobbit Ale' in connection with the forthcoming Burren Tolkien Festival which takes place from 9th to 16th May <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.burrentolkiensociety.ie/">www.burrentolkiensociety.ie/

This will be launched in the pub on Saturday May 11th at 8 p.m.

I'm not sure what the strength of the beer will be, but Peter mentioned that once you have had one you will be unsure if you can safely have another!
