Just finishing a bottle of this now. Wow.
I spent a weekend in Brussels about 20 years ago and had a few fruit lambics then so the sourness is sorta familiar, but I never knew a beer that only contained 'normal' ingredients ('water, malt, hops, maize, sugar') could taste this way. Another branch of brewing to research exhaustively! <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

This beer is great. I reckon it's the next thing to the London porters of times gone by. Wild Brews by Jeff Sparrow is a great source if you are interested in reading up on Flemish reds.
