The new limited edition is out now. Available in the usual outlets in Cork today and Dublin tomorrow

It is a 7.8% stout aged in Jameson whiskey casks. The process took 100 days and gives off a slight after taste of Jameson but with the warmth you would expect from such a stout.

I picked up 2 in the Abbots Alehouse in Cork.

Absolutely delicious. Such a treat to have a whiskey cask aged stout that still remains all the character of the original brew.
Wonderful roasted malt, dark choc, and coffee are the main players with the whiskey giving it an interesting bit of complexity at the finish. Was so worried that it would end up as a total vanilla-bomb or just a massive uncomplicated whiskey hit à la Innis & Gunn's most recent offering, but this was real class.

Will defo have to get my hands on one of these sounds really good
