I'm heading to Galway tomorrow night with my girlfriend and it's likely once We get to a pub she won't want to move. I'm new to brewing and craft beer and want to try as many favors as possible when I get the chance. So what do yous reckon salt house or bierhaus?

I'm a big fan of both, if you have to choose one the salthouse have their own set of beers on tap as well as the other offerings.

I've only been to the Salthouse, it's a great bar. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Salthouse is better for a selection of beers but unless herself is really into that scene then she'd probably prefer the Bierhaus to sit in for the night. Having said that they are really close to each other, literally a 2 minute walk.

I thought the Salthouse was an excellent, proper traditional Galway pub. Really comfortable and relaxed.

The bonus was, it had all craft beer.
