I have just returned from a holiday in Mallorca and I thought a thread showing the beers I tried and where to get them would be interesting.

I was in Palma Nova, the standard beers on draft were san Miguel and estrella lager. Neither of these were to my taste. Most bars served a wheat beer in bottles ( paulaner, fransiskaner, erdinger) some bars even had one on draft. My saviour was the local supermarket "Eroski" which had a large beer section at great prices. The following are some of the beers I tried,

Legado de yuste 6.5% €1.19
Grimbergen dubbel 6.5% €1.39
Mahou negra 5.5%   69cents
Pony lager 5% €1.09
Weihensteffaner 5.5% €1.39
Estrella damn negra 5% 79cent

They also stocked a variety of wheat beers and other lagers but I became quite partial to the Legado de Yeuste.

I'm going to Majorca next month and hope to get my hands on some beer from these guys. According to their website they don't have any stockists where I'm heading though <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> .
