I had a 3% one in the US at a brewpub[/url:jzp01pf1]. It was nice enough. It just did not seem like I was drinking beer at 3%. It was like taking a water break except that it tasted like a weak sour wheat beer.
I enjoyed it. I would not be bothered with adding syrup.

Yes, like a very weak Gueuze.

On an only somewhat related topic I FINALLY managed to find a Gose, although it was an American variant and not a German one.

-It's like a Berliner Weiss but has quite a bit of table salt and coriander added. It ends up being refreshing like a sparkling water.

The version I had was from Widmer in Portland and had some rasberry-like berry added. It tasted like rasberry flavored sparkling water; SUPER refreshing. Adding salt to different highly carbonated beers could be interesting....

I had some when I was Germany 2 months ago and I quite liked it. It did taste very strange yet I couldn't help but have more. I dunno whether dumping a load of salt into my wit beer brew is going to produce the same effect though. Might give it a try with 1 bottle.
