Yeah, that's what I've heard too. I'm also theorising that Biddy Early may be getting into bed with him as they mentioned some joint venture after the closure of their brewery in Inagh. Lots of movement and consolidation it seems. I hope it all works out and we get the Biddies back on the shelves soon, as well as new offerings. Speaking of which, has anybody seen any Biddy bottles anywhere recently?

It sounds very promising. Hopefully some new and tasty brews will shortly be on the market.

the brewery is definatley mothballed, Nollaig shona was christmas 2006/2007, dave had a keg in Bierhuas

I never had the Nollaig Shona. Dave got one keg in December 06 for his special but when I got there it had been replaced by Kinsale stout which I thought was very nice. Dave said at the time that the Nollaig Shona was really very heavy and described it as "christmas pudding like". I think overall the views on it were mixed and more negative than positive. As Rebel said earlier Kinsale Brewery no longer exists.

The company has not yet been wound up, however. They filed accounts back in September. There may be hope yet.
