Just went to my local Tesco in Cork to see if I could pick up a foreign Guinness, and BOOM, new world and craft beer section. Sierra Nevadas, Shipyards, seemingly every Porterhouse and a few others all for €1.50 each.(

) Selection of English and Irish ales much much bigger and some Baltikas, Erdinger Urweisse and Schneider Weisse too. Really, it's an average selection for a craft beer shop, but for a Tesco I was blown away. Needless to say, at that price, all the Sierra Nevadas were gone. In fact, half of the shelf space in the section was taken up by 'sold out' stickers. Regardless, this is a feckin brilliant develepment in my eyes, or maybe it's old news. Who cares? Good beer!
