Ball-bearings in the muslin bag and use a length of floss trapped in the Lid seal.

No pellets in a corny. The slightest amount sucked up the outlet pipe and the poppet valve is block, meaning it has to be taken off the corny and cleaned out.

I dry hopped with a few cones just thrown into the corny. Worked fine. They're too big to cause problems and they mostly float anyway.

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated

I stick a glass marble in the bag. Not even sure where to get stainless steel ball bearings.

Huh, does that work without making the seal leak? If so, that's a great idea... I was not looking forward to fishing a bag of oak chips out of the bottom of my corny in a few weeks.

I use Nylon bags with drawstrings that can be pulled and tied. I also have a massive nylon bag that is large enough to tie like a bin bag and have loads of room for the hops to float about.
