Lomond Gold Organic Blonde Ale 5% AND Coopes Best Stout 6.3% 18 years 6 months ago #1

Had a bottle of the above at the Bierhaus Cork on Sunday. Dave had a few in stock. Very impressed with it. Not too far off Sierra Nevada, Hoppy and fruity. Traditional scottish ales website interesting too. I imagine it is around a while but obviously new to here. Don't expect it will be a regular at the Biuerhaus but was very enjoyable.

Follwoed it woth a bottle of Coopers Best Extra Stout at 6.3% whicc again was very good - another pleasant surprise. Did not think I could have got an australian stout so good! I ma learning!!!

Started my visit with an Erdinger Oktoberfest on draught which was o.k. - maybe a little too cold I thought and finished with an O'Hara's Stout - went home a happy man but most imprssed with the Lomond Gold and Coopers Best Sotut

I tried the Lomond Gold recently and didn't like at all. I found it way too sweet and not at all hoppy, maybe I had a dud bottle?

I think Coopers Stout is fantastic, one of my favourite beers.
