Good beer in cans - Where and what? 14 years 1 month ago #13

Yeah, what is the story with the price of Razor Blades!!

Thanks all for the info, I may be in Dublin Friday do I could stock up there. What's Ruddles like?

Spud, I'm nearly out of my own, haven't had much brewing time recently

Edit: I'd just like to add that I'm not a fan of London Pride. I love ESB but LP has a touch of a bitterness that I don't like. I think it may be some astringency or something, but I could be talking through my ass there!

Aw lads.... dont get me started!
They've even made them harder to acciddently steal.
So...
I've switched to tesco own brand... its about 2 quid for 8 or 12. Gliette equivalant is around a tenner.
They do exactly the same job! Except they dont have a vibrating version.

Hoppy (English hops) bitter. I like it but if you don't like LP there's a risk you may not like it. Have you tried LP in cans? I actually think it has more flavour than the bottle but haven't blind tested it.

I didnt like ruddles.
Been a while since I tasted it though - cant rem exactly what it was like, I thought my memory was telling me it had an earthy taste like Old Speckled Hen, but i think ill have to try it again now to be sure Cos I like LP.

No it's not like Speckled Hen. It's often sold in clear bottles in this country so maybe you drank light struck Ruddles.
