I was actually in a Jamie Oliver Inc eatery the other day ,Union Jacks and got a Curious Brew IPA pint for 4 quid or 2 for a half(exactly half the price,English pubs are usually good about this and I appreciate it).I think 4 is the right price for a restaurant. Its about 40p more than a city centre pub.I am still shocked at the amount of high end restaurants who think Peroni makes the drinks menu respectable. Not sure who is to blame here.Maybe its reps who are not getting the word out or restaurants with managers stuck in the dark ages. Perhaps when someone eats in a restaurant and finds the menu completely lacking decent beer options they should consider sending off a quick email saying nice food but won't be returning due to beer options. When making decisions for somewhere to eat I know I always try and consider the drinks options.A good beer rounds off the dining experience otherwise you feel a little short changed drinking Heineken for a fiver a bottle or wine your not really in the mood for
