M&S Greenwich Hospital Porter 14 years 2 months ago #1

"Greenwich Hospital Porter is brewed using 7 different malts by the Meantime Brewery and then aged in Oak Islay whisky barrels for 4 months to impart oaked peaty flavours."

Meantime also produce this under their own name, but don't seem to have ever bottled it.

A bit steep at €15 for a 750ml bottle (but hey, it comes in a fancy cardboard tube like a good whiskey!)

Anybody tried this yet?

Have you seen this at an M&S in Dublin?

I never understood how Meantime get away with this

"No fewer than seven malts go into our Porter, each especially chosen to bring you the flavours so loved by Londoners that demand for Porter made London the brewing capital of the world'"

Its not like the recipe for various London porter for over two centuries aren't available
