Great American Beer Festival 18 years 6 months ago #1

I'm off to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver tomorrow, I thought I'd check the website for a bit of information and I can accross a new book being released there called Brewing Classic Styles, I thought it would interest everyone on this site so here's the link.

Intersting. You can also pre-order from Amazon in the UK[/url:2bwvckuy].

[quote:2bwvckuy]Award-winning brewer Jamil Zainasheff teams up with homebrewing expert John J. Palmer to share recipes for all of the 80-plus competition styles. This book presents every award-winning recipe in both extract with grain and all-grain brewing formats, making them accessible to brewers of all skill levels. Each recipe includes specific tips for understanding the style and tips for brewing a great example suitable for competition or impressing your friends. The duo also gives sure-footed guidance on selecting ingredients, making starters, and other techniques useful for reproducing these classic and modern beer styles. [/quote:2bwvckuy]

Revolves around the US competition brewer, a bit like Designing Great Beers: The Ultimate Guide to Brewing Classic Beer Styles[/url:2bwvckuy] maybe, but should have some pretty tasty recipes!

Cheers lads. I'll also try to get some recipies from the brewers themselves, particulary interested in a Coconut Stout from Hawaii and a beer described as an IPA black monster by the Stone brewery
