Since Mel departed for the States who has taken over as brewer at Messrs?

I'd say most of the beer is coming from White Gypsy, but I've also been told that the 2011 Jul Ól was brewed in-house by Rob, of Barrelhead.

And while we are on the subject, I had two very nice pints of their 2011 Jul Ól last evening. And then today I see that Drinkstore have taken delivery of Yule Ól in bottles from White Gypsy (6% ABV). Will be interesting to compare the two brews. So yet another Irish craft bottles beer hits the shelves!

There is a new brewer, but until he gives up his day job, he's keeping himself below the radar. Or so I heard.

If it's Rob from Barrelhead, he's been trying to give up that day job for a LONG time. (I don't blame him, though.)

-And he has considerable reason to stay below the radar, too so I REALLY don't blame him.
