After 8 year absence Russell Grant has decided the next bottling will be Bellringer.

abv around 6.5% bottled in the usual 1 litre bottle.

For the un-enlightened ( i.e. Me ) could you expand a little as to what this is all about

Fantastic news! Really looking forward to that. Thanks Rebel.

Will, Bellringer was the Franciscan Well's winter beer but was discontinued.

Ah ha, thanks John

Can't resist trying this one

I hope Geoff at the B&C will be getting in a few cases

I'll take a couple of bottles

Sounds lovely

As an aside: Having been brewing at home for more years than I care to remember I hardly ever bought a craft beer from anywhere.

Since joining Beoir this has changed, mmmmmm .., shall we say a lot <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Still brewing as much, if not more, but also enjoying the fruits of the independents

Cheers

Dark, low-bitterness, low hoppiness, and spiced? Or a different kind of winter beer?

It should be dark, fairly well hopped and no spice, as far as I am aware.
