You know what, yes they are!

An occasional treat certainly. But what they make, they make well. I've never been disappointed by one of their beers. Some of them are not so much better than less expensive alternatives that it's worth paying the Norway premium, but some of them are. Imperial Stout all the way! Probably the best example of the style.

Hopefully McHugh's will have them in tomorrow.

Apparently Holland's in Bray will have them tomorrow,
better make some room in the beer fridge!!

Lol!

I didn't say that you are happier with it because it's better; people are often happier with things that they paid more for simply because they paid more for it and because of the psychology of branding.

(Although I do think the Nogne O is worth the premium price.)

I'd agree its possibly the best European example of the style.

-Although Brewdog's Paradox stout (all the non-peated versions) is right there with it in my opinion, the two are quite different imperial stouts.

The Nogne O version is just pure silk.

Any word on bottling dates?

When I've found them in the past they've always had some age on them, which doesn't so much matter for the dark beers, but would give me pause for the Pale Ale and IPA.

I PREFER the Imperial Stout aged so hopefully they've been lying in some shipping container somewhere for quite some time.
