What an unusual connection between two brewers at opposite ends of the island.

This beer gets its name from a dog called Master McGrath. The dog was born outside Dungarvan, where there is a monument locally well known as "The Master McGrath".

The beer that won CAMRA's "Champion Beer of Belfast" last year available in the format that it won in! (Did it make it through the weekend, Geoff?)

Had a couple of pints on Saturday night. Fantastic beer.

I hope there's still some left by the time I can make it; it's definitely great directly out of the fermenter and I'm curious how it changes after being in the cask for a little while.

-Might have to see about making a special trip to the B&C tomorrow evening...

Sorry Adam, it sold quicker than I thought. But I just put on the Cask of [b:24qaql0z]Messrs Maguire Mixed Berry Weiss[/b:24qaql0z]. I reckon this will be a record setting beer in terms of how long it lasts.
