We were in last night for a couple of pints of London Pride, and a bit of confusion arose.

The pump clip says LONDON PRIDE PALE ALE, and the PALE ALE is in really big lettering at the bottom.

I'd be used to this (I think) where it says Premium Ale at the bottom, in the same way as Fianna Fail says The Republican Party.

But instead it looks like this:

I haven't had cask London Pride in ages and it was too dark to see it properly, but it this a new shield on old beer, or is this a new beer? I suspect it's the former.

Pump clip for the export market maybe?
