Just had a look at the website. It nearly persuaded me there was some taste! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" />

I only drink Smithwicks when I'm taking it easy but want something with slightly more body than a Ballygowan.

Sure, but Guinness Mid Strength is seriously weak, probably a marketing and commercial disaster, so marketing Smithwicks Pale Ale @ 2.5 - 2.8% can't be any worse?

It just wouldn't surprise me if they did something like that.
