I've spent a pretty crazy number of hours over the past 6 months learning about the equipment and processes these huge breweries have and there's absolutely NOTHING "craft" about it.
These are NOT products that are led by ingredients, or flavor, or even the decisions of human beings who are passionate about the end product. Decisions about ingredients are made by ACCOUNTANTS, the beer itself is made by MACHINES in every sense of the word, often without a human touching it for ANYTHING except when the "Predictive Maintenance" system indicates that some sensor or valve somewhere is going to fail if it's not replaced soon, and then the beer is lied about by marketing spin doctors.
This sort of beer represents all that is wrong with the world of beer, if not the world in general; CRAFT IT IS NOT.
Down with this sort of thing!
Yea for Ingredient and Flavor-first beer! Nay for Profit and Market share-first beer!
Yea for beer made by people! Nay for beer made by industrial robots!
Yea for beer made by a brewer because THEY like it! Nay for beer made by Marketers for a non-existent "target market" because they know they can convince people that they like it!
Viva la revolution!
