Shortage of (US) West Coast Beers? 15 years 3 weeks ago #1

Am I the only one that's noticed a shortage of bottles of West Coast beers?

I haven't been able to get a bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale for a few weeks, and I've tried the B&C, Against the Grain, Porterhouse Central and Porterhouse Temple Bar. I've also been in Deveney's in Rathmines to no avail. My back up, Anchor Steam is also conspicuous by its absence.

Is there one distributor bringing these beers into the country, and they're just late? Is this a sign that craft beer is gaining more popularity in Ireland, and ultimately we'll all benefit from increased supply and choice?

I really like the Celebration Ale, but I don't always want something that heavy...

A guy from Molloys off licenses said on Boards that there's some problem with World Beers who are the distributor for a lot of craft beers.

Deveney's, Redmond's and Drink Store all seem to have gotten new shipments at the end of last week, so I think the drought might be over.

Have you tried Goose Island IPA as an SNPA substitute?

Are you saying that the Goose is again loose?
