I realise I'm a little late to this party but I had two pints of this nectar on Saturday in the B&C and all I can say is WOW, absolutely beautiful beer.

Well done to Trouble, and if you can keep the standard up on this one you'll have my continued custom whenever I'm in there.

If you've not tried it yet all I can say is to make it your business to try, it's a really super beer.

Kudos on this one.

agreed. I really like it.

I wonder if we can persuade a Tyrrelstown pub to stock it for us?

I doubt it sincerely, for a start I don't frequent them enough and secondly they have slowly but surely knocked all semblance of supporting craft brews on the head as they were not selling. They are no longer even stocking Hilden bottles and the last time I was there they were no longer ordering in Krombacher on tap, it's BMC all the way.

Yeah it is a pity. I cannot blame the pub owners too much. I genuinely think the reason was lack of sales.

The staff not knowing what any of the beers were and having to be persuaded to sell you the bottle they had may not have helped. But at root the problem seems to have been the customers not ordering the beer.

Had my first couple of pints of this in Against the Grain last night. Absolutely delicious. No idea how i had managed not to have a pint of it until now.

I'm partial to a pint of it too, tho a mate commented to me "that's what Harry Potter drinks". Didn't realise there was a Harry Potter connection[/url:czfsm00h] (I have to admit that's ever so slightly off-putting!)
