The Old Midleton Distillery does tours and has a visitors centre. In terms of beer, The Franciscan Well is worth a visit. According to their website you can contact them if you'd like a tour.

or better again....time your hols to coincide with a lee brewing club meeting ...see posts here they are on saturday mornings. apart from that beamish is closed and you might aswell ask for a look round Phizers ( if you do go to viagra plant <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> ) as murphys its just a processing plant that happens to have beer as an output. Im sure if you make contact the well they will arrange a visit.
8 degrees might be up and running by then ?they arein mithelstown area

Give Cormac (noby) a shout and ask. Most craft breweries will sort you out if you arrange it in advance.
