But they stock amazing beer [/quote:12rua7tg]unfortunately you're mostly right about thurs, fri and sat nights. However I quite like the decor, and for an afternoon pint it's quiet, none of yer man woodsy shouting his head off, and the choice of beer is what draws me there. B&C has superceded that now though, cos it has everything PH has but without the crowds and the muppet on guitar. Unfortunately it's a long run to the last luas or nitelink

More than welcome . My plan is having people who bother showing up to the registry office there for an hour or two, before the people who I'm prepared to buy dinner for go out for a meal. I'm toying with idea of trying to source some decent fruit lambic and paying the B&C a corkage. I think it might be more fun than Champagne. Also more personal since my bird and I both love beer.

Good lambic deserves its place on any fine wine list right amoung the most select examples the Champagne houses have to offer.
A fine wedding toast that would be Wobbler!

My thoughts entirely. Can anyone suggest a way of getting a few lambics into Ireland? I don't want any of the sweetened ones from Boon, Lindermans or Bellvue.

Boon Gueuze will do (I know that's availabled here, but I reckon fruit ones would be more fun).
