any Unibroue in the Irish market? 15 years 4 months ago #1

Has anyone ever seen Unibroue of Quebecs products in Irish shops. I heard somewhere that they used to be available in Supervalu on the quays many moons ago. I lived in Canada for a few months and I think they are probably some of the best beers being produced in North America. They had an amazing range of about 7 products all with a very Belgian feel. On their website they claim to have won 68 Gold medals and 8 platinum medals at various big beer awards.Surely this is a shocking omission from the Irish market.
While we're on the subject has anyone else tasted their sup?

Yes I have had Raftman, Maudite, La Fin du Monde and Trois Pistoles. I got Maudite and LFDM at Supervalu there as late as 2007 but not seen them in a while now. I thought the Maudite and Trois Pistoles were superb; strong dark Belgian (style) ales, but they were all solid.

I'm sure I saw Fin du Monde and Maudite in Supervalu Aston Quay in the last year. They were doing the small bottles of the latter as well.
