Hi all,
Hope you're having a lovely holiday and that the beer is flowing. Am off to New York City on Sunday and am wondering if ye might know of any must see pubs there? Wide open to suggestions as I haven't had the time to look anywhere up...C

You could try:

Mc Sorley's Ale House, 15 East 7th Street

I wouldn't go for their beer but the place itself is worth experiencing.
