Topic Author	Terrible stuff. Is this seriously respected among beer aficionados? (not that I am one) It's possible I got a bad one but it was one of the most bland beers I've ever tasted. It tasted like a flat [i:1z8c93mu]can[/i:1z8c93mu] of Heineken.

I feel the need to stick up for any beer that gets this abuse that isn't heineken, is a flat can worse than the usual over-carbonated can? I haven't had Belfast Blonde so cannot defend it! But I have had Heineken and don't believe anyone would get away with worse without a similar advertising budget! Say it ain't so!

Have to disagree. Fair enough it's pretty clean tasting but there's definitely some hoppiness present. They've got it on tap in my local and I consider it a decent alternative to the 'big boy' lagers.

It is fairly medicore but unfortunatley thats the whole point its meant to be bland/inoffensive to tempt the lager drinkers in, i would expect its probably hildens best seller.
