That's some pretty poor pedantry, KeeganAles

I'm well aware both plants brew other brands.

You're arguing against a craft/macro dichotomy which was not suggested in this thread.

Not the worst beer in the world but does anyone else think it's a bit on the flat side?

No aftertaste to it all.

I like this beer myself and the bottles are nice too however they cannot be capped using the capper that has the 2 push down handles only the bench type will work, did I say I like the beer as well

Can be done, but it's tricky indeed

Agreed ABH, there are a lot nicer bottled English ales on the shelves.
Dempsey if you cap an ordinary bottle, carefully remove the cap you can then reuse this cap with your twin lever capper to cap Wychwood bottles no problem.

Marstons may be big/bigish brewer but they have a lot of tasty brews in their stable..

You'd have to go a long way to get a more interesting beer than Hobgoblin, it's a super beer. And Pedigree is a really smooth beer too. They're a midlands brewery and thet's where I tend to be when in UK so get to sampe a lot of their stuff.

Over christmas some of the pubs were doing Marston's Christmas Pudding which was s spicey/hoppet winter release, lovelly and unlike anything you would ever get here (unfortunately).

On Spuds point Hobgoblin is a knacker for re-using as bottles... Think I warped my crown capper attempting it.
