I'm off to Leinster Vs Clermont on 18th, and meeting up with a few lads beforehand (4pm ish).

Wondered where the nearest decent boozer is to the Aviva, if possible not in town...

If We're all based southside coming from N11 ish area.. Is there anything in Ballsbridge/D'Brook/Baggot St area where a man can get a decent pint?

I believe Beggars Bush had Rebel Red but there was no sign of it the last time I was there a couple of months back. Paddy Cullen's in Ballsbridge is also supposed to have it but I can't verify.

The Gingerman is probably your nearest pub if you want craft beer. It's on Fenian Street and is within walking distance of the ground (probably about a 15 minute walk). They have 3 of the Franciscan Well beers: Rebel Red, Rebel Lager and Friar Weiss, only €3.50 a pint or a pitcher for around €12. (avoid the food)

Cullens and Mary Macs in Ballsbridge do Rebel Red & Friar Weisse. Once in the stadium it's just guinnes dispensing machines afaik, although given it's Heineken Cup, it'll probably just be a Heineken vending machine <shudder>
