Went down to galway for the races. I was determined to have a pint of Hooker - How hard could it be? Unfortunately after the races our destinations were not in my control and I was unable to get a pint.

The next day I was way too hungover to sample a pint - That night I was heading to a BBQ at a friends house. Low and behold who shows up with a keg of Hooker, none other then Aidan, the brewer himself. Had a great chat and got to push some of my own brews on him while I made a good dent in the keg.

Great night and Galway Hooker is a great beer. Aidan was saying that a few more dublin pubs are interested in stocking it.

thats a really great story! you are a lucky one, yeah its a really great drink, so refreshing, nice bitter hoppy after taste. i hope more pubs in Dublin start to stock it. I wonder if he's thinking of bottling it. I know we'd definitely take a few cases of him for the shop!

Did you find out how there sales are going are more pubs taking it up?

I have been lucky to meet Aidan twicem firstly at the Franiscan Beerfest at Easter and in the Bierhaus a few weeks back - he even bought me a pint of Hooker that night - lucklly I was drinking a pint of it when I met him!!!!!! A very nice guy of course!!
