The Well have a nwwe special on for the past few weeks and going dow nvery well apparenlty. I had a few pttns of same las Friday night and very impressed with it. A malty flavousome ale, not quiet like anything I cud compare it with but very flavoursome Very good jibes from anyone who ahss had same on the night. Just one brew done and not sure if it will be aavilable outside the Well. If you are in the area well worth a try.

Also on the subject of new beers had a pint of a Kolsch style lager ftom White Gypsy also on Friday night in the Abbots and thougg hit was pretty flavouwsome too (even after a few pints of Smiling Buddha!!!!)

I was in the well on Friday and had a couple pints of smiling buddah as well, and have to agree that it was really good. It's something that I could see selling well, especially over the winter.

Drank this saturday night and I think it's very like the "extra hoppy" rebel red that popped up in a few Bars around the town last year the year before .

I like it a lot actually

It's on in The Bull & Castle at the moment too. I thought it was much closer to Golden Otter than Rebel Red.

Tried it last night (and the smoked marzen); it was quite tasty, hoppier than I expected (extra bonus points!), but suprisingly quite cloudy.

I was suprised by the cloudiness but it didn't detract from the taste at all.
