Goose Island Summertime

This is in the tasters off license in Blanchardstown shopping centre. So naturally I got a bottle.
The bottle is lovely and really summery. The beer itself is light and I really liked it.
Tasters off license has a pretty good selection. The staff do seem amused by the fact that I buy all the strange beers though.

I felt I got similar funny looks when I bought some of the Rougue beers and a strange Lithuainian porter. I get the feeling they're more used to cases of Bud going out the door.

Summertime kolsch isn't bad, refreshing but a little underwhelming.... solid though

Granted some people find Kolsch is a bit bland but it's not supposed to be a challenging beer. I thought Summertime wasn't bad. I wouldn't be in a rush to get it again though.

I'm sure the shadow of Goose Island IPA causes this beer problems too.
