M&S Cornish IPA 15 years 8 months ago #1

It's alleged to be the best in the Marks and Spencer beer range -- a straight re-badge of St Austell Proper Job. And it's now on sale in the Jervis Street branch.

Proper Job is lovely even from the bottle

The M&S newcastle bitter is bloody gorgeous too.

Been hoping a long time that M&S here would get this, and it was worth the wait.

Gorgeous juicy, citrus hops. St. Austell website says Willamette, Cascade and Chinook - any guesses on how those break down?

I was in M&S the other day and they have a pretty interesting selection of beers...

Can anyone reccomend/advise against their selection? I'm definitely going to try their Begian Wheat.

As well as the Cornish IPA, the Southwold Winter Beer is excellent, as is the Scottish Ale. The Irish Stout and Lincolnshire Bitter are both very good. Wooden spoons for Cheshire Chocolate Porter, Christmas Ale and Yorkshire Bitter.
