Reading that thread, they discuss a few months aging, my plan is a three year aging for one beer and then two and one to do a gueze blend, plastic is out for me......

If you're planning such a long term project, it might be worth trying to source some small barrels, Port barrels perhaps. 3 years is a long time, may as well do it right, beer from the wood!

The barrels I've seen for sale are crazy expensive though, if you know of a source for inexpensive ones I'm all ears <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

well kilbeggan had what looked like smaller barrels, but the guy said they weren't for sale, they looked like port barrels. You could go down there and haggle with him, or kidnap his kids or something, you know, leverage <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
