Oh I know, and I did appreciate it. The guy I went with took me up to the fourth floor where they have a big balcony area, which we was quite proud of. It took us a while to get up there, but they only had bud, so I wasn't long telling him that we needed to go back down to where we could get the Monsta! He's used to listening to me go on about beer, so it was no surprise to him anyway.

Have been supping Fat Jacks hoptinius, which is described as a hoppy pale lager, but just like an ale and it is really good. It's from a framingham brewery, which is local to where I am working, so happy to support them. Will be added to my go to list for sure.
I'm down in Milford Cn now, so went for a few beers last night in Newhaven. Had a couple of average ipa's, and as they were closing the bar, I saw them write Brooklyn schnieder hopfenweiss up on the board. I couldn't believe they were only tapping it then! I managed to wangle a small glass out of them, but couldn't believe that I nearly missed it, as never had it on draft before, but have drank a lot of it in bottle, and regularly brew my own version. I'm glad to report that it was very good, and my own current version is not too dissimilar, although that was still conditioning when I left.
