Shared a bottle of this last night. It's the 32% proof imperal stout from Brew Dogs that's triple brewed (twice in different whiskey barrels). If you are a fan of rauschbier you will love this. Has an interesting after note of bacon too.

Rauschbier is a fittingly humorous misspelling.

I presume you mean Rauchbier?

Rausch is German for buzz.

Tasted it a few months back. Awful. Really really bad. Astringent. Yuk!

Which is quite a shame, as I really like their Paradox (Arran), Punk and RipTide.
