We should applaud Brewdog as they raise awareness not only of their own brand but also of craft brewing as a whole. The fact that they don't do it in a "sandalesque" manner a la Camra is a bonus. The macro brewers have millions in advertising & marketing budgets and if you want to make any impression on a tiny slice of that market you've got to get creative. I do think they've stolen a bit of the Arrogant Bastard "You're not worthy" approach to marketing but plagiarism is nothing new

There's something not quite right with those guys...

In related news, both Tactical Nuclear Penguin & Tokyo are available at the O'briens in Dun Laoghaire right now but you have to ask for it as they're not leaving it out. (The Tactical Nuclear Penguin is 40 Euro...)

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of some Dry Ice or Liquid Nitrogen in Dublin?

-I'm thinking "40% home-brewed DIPA, stuffed in a bog mummy" is really the only way to top these guys!

Seriously though, I really could use some dry ice every now and again, does anyone know where I might be able to find some? (Back home there was an ice cream shop that would sell it to me.)

(My previous hobby involved freezing and overclocking computers; if I would've kept my water chiller it would've made the greatest wort chiller EVER but it didn't make the move...) ;(

Do they use dry ice in smoke machines for gigs?
If so maybe an audio equipment shop.
