I had my 6th undrinkable beer last night (mainly because I feared for my own safety with this one): BrewDog Trashy Blonde.

I'm a huge BrewDog Paradox Islay stout fan and I really like their Punk IPA, too; last night I tried BrewDog's Trashy Blonde and it had a VERY strong and pronounced metallic taste. I'm not sure if someone just dropped way too many salts in this batch or what happened but it got dumped down the drain after I gave a sip to my wife for confirmation that it "wasnt' just me". An email to BrewDog with the batch number will follow shortly.


Liquid Metal Beer... not good!

Had a bottle of it recently from O'Brien's. Was luvely.

When I get home tonight I'll post the batch number of the "Liquid Metal" version...

I had Trashy Blonde recently and thought it was fantastic, a little like a toned down Punk IPA but the amount of flavour @ 4.1% was very impressive. Maybe you just didn't care for the flavour but it might be worth trying a different batch to compare.

Had one last week also, found it very nice.
