Bought one for the wife yesterday, she wasn't too gone on it, I thought it was grand. Nice to see something so different brewed here.

I had a pint of it and I have to say I enjoyed it. Not very sweet, thankfully, though very f&*"ing pink. Glad it came in a weihenstephaner glass, otherwise someone may have thought I was drinking Rekorderlig.
Most of the raspberry is in the aroma, moreso than the taste, and I didn't get too much of a weisse feel from it I have to say. Not that that's necessarily a negative in this case.
Opted to follow it with Purgatory pale, as shandon stout was too obvious <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->.
I have to say, fair dues to the lads at the Franciscan for mixing it up with some great seasonal brews in the last year or so. Phúca, Three Kings, Golden Otter, and now this (despite it being less to my taste). Certainly can't be faulted for creativity!

As I though this beer did not do it for me!!! Though I know it is getting a gooed resposne from some punters which is great. Followed it with Purgatory and Barrelhead Pale ales last Friday night - could not detect much of a difference between the two latter beers though maybe my taste buds were fully confusde at that sage after the raspberry!!!

As said above fair dues to the well guys for thinking outside the box and brewing intetesting specials. Cheers Lads
