I know I'm probably opening up a can of worms. I'm working on a 'Beer Style Guide' for our website nothing too definitive, I'm just using slightly amended classifications they suggest on the Beer Naturally[/url:27lm095e]site from the Irish brewers Assoc. , basically just as a guide to help people refine their choice of beer by a general style.

What category should 'lambics' go in , Ales? Lagers? I know neither would probably be accurate, but I was thinking in the Lager category maybe under a separate heading?

I'd put them wherever you have the wheat beers: that's probably their closest relative.

I think they're so unique they should have their own little home. Would make people expect something a little different, which they are when you watch newcomers making the "sour face" <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Put them under a new category called "sours"

Yeah! I have gone with that, I think they probably deserve a category in their own right,so I have amended accordingly.I have nearly finished the 'guide'[/url:12kfirw6] now ,about 80% of the beers have been categorized, If anybody sees any mistakes or errors please let me know <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->, any feedback would be appreciated.
