I'm definitely not trying it ever again.

I'm just after trying my 6th different one, they are disgusting, it can't be coincidence.

Maisels Weiss was the straw that broke the camel's back...

I love a good weiss...weihenstephaner being my fav. The dunkel is fantastic too

I was always a big fan of Maisel's actually, and considered Weissbier to be one of the beers that made me think about beer differently after I first encountered it in Germany in the mid-90s.

Seems they just don't suit your taste. Plenty of other beer to be had, so I wouldn't worry if I was you

Well it sounds like you don't like wheat beer. Fair enough.
They are usually a good gateway beer and I have certainly enjoyed my share.
I'm not really an enthusiast for them at the moment, but I find that these things go in cycles, so maybe I'll be back into them in a few months, or a few years.

I reckon if you don't like Weihenstephaner, Aventinus and Hoegaarden it's time to quit wheat beers. For a while, anyway
