Dave in Bierhaus, will have cask ale via polypin on the first day of every month with the exception of june,july and Auguat.

I'll be in Cork for the weekend but only in Cork city for a couple of hours. If I had to pick one for a pint or two is Bierhaus the best spot or Franciscan well ?

They're not so far apart that you need to pick one if you've time for two pints <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Be aware that they don't open to 4pm, if you're going to be around earlier.

Ahhh that is a problem as I'll be in West Cork in time to watch the rugby match at 4.30pm.

I know that the beerhaus was open earlier than four last Saturday, but that might have been due to the earlier starting time of that game. Give them a bell on Friday, and they can let you know exactly what time.
