TOPIC:

I picked up 4 Anchor Bock Beers on my way home from work yesterday and polished them off last night. Wonderful stuff, big aroma and flavours (caramel, treacle, liquorice, burnt toast, raisin, fig etc).
A rich complex drink that even on the 4th bottle I was relishing every mouthful. I was sorry when it was gone. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> Highly recommended. More please.

where did you pick those up?

I got them in Hollands in Bray.
I also got some Fullers London Porter (very nice), Batemans Dark Lord (nice but paled in comparison to the FLP and ABB) and some Paulaner Salvator (undecided on this one).
Hollands have a nice world beer section if your in that area.
