According to that site

" Koch Growlers are manufactured in Germany "

and lo and behold I found this site

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.wassmann.com">www.wassmann.com

Who manufacture them and allows personalised ones with your logo on it (ICB/Beoir <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> ? )
This led my search here

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.hellmann24.de/flaschen-siphons/index.htm">www.hellmann24.de/flaschen-siphons/index.htm

Who sell them and a lot of other resealable containers
It strikes me ,that these could be used for home brewing just as well as beer transport.

I've got one of those types, well, like this[/url:wsyjxqdz]. They call them Siphons here. A mate in work gave it to me, and at 2 litres, it's dead handy for a party. Have a small crate of 1 litre swingtops too.

They're pricey though, but if you're bringing them back for refills it's great. Some of the brewpubs around this area do it too. But, would you be paying on-license prices in Ireland?

i think a new name might be required for dublin!

though i could well imagine it getting lots of publicity for beoir - new consumer group calls for growler filling in pubs![/i]
