Has anyone tried any of the Skinner's Brewery Beers?
Two availible in Redmonds - Betty Stogs (Bitter) and Cornish Knockers (Golden Ale).
I really like the Betty Stogs Bitter - Might be my favorite british ale...

I visted their brewery in the City of Turo Cornwall, last year. The brewery is based in an industrial complex across from Tesco. They have a great visitor centre. The beer is widely available in Cornwall. All their beer is niece and moderate in abv usually around 4%.The beer is available from Abbots ale house in Cork. I think Eurobeers is the impoters. Skinners beer is alot better than St Austell brewery beer, which is the main brewery in Cornwall.

Drinking
Woodfordes wherry
Coopers Dark
Kitty's Real Cider.

I did like them but I wouldn't class them as my personal favourite. The Betty Stoggs Bitter is by far the best though. They also had a seasonal version out at christmas called "Jingle Knockers". It was good too but i didn't find it anything amazingly special

They probably add some breweries caramel into the boil for Betty Stoggs Bitter and call it a Christmas beer, unfortunately quite a common practice
