Porterhouse Celebration Stout 18 years 11 months ago #1

I think this beer is fantastic. Easily there best beer. It's the only Imperial Stout I've tasted so I'm not sure how it stands up to its American counterparts but a delicious massively flavoured beer, imho. Any idea why they stopped making it? If it's expensive to produce, they should just charge more. It's not as if it's in any danger of going off any time soon. What do you all think? Am I missing the point?

I've had a bottle for the last few months. I'm just waiting for the right moment to open it. Might wait til winter rolls in again and have it some cold, miserable evening in December.

Good thinking. More of a winter warmer than a summer refresher.

There was a limited amount produced, America stouts tend to add cascade to them, nice in AIPA. I was not mad about it, Rogue chocolate stout is available around Dublin.

Really? Where? I've only had Rogue Amber Ale. Thought it was quite nice.
