TOPIC:

New micro-brewery in Dingle Co.Kerry??? 16 years 5 months ago #1

Here's where an avid kerryman found the info and passed the link on to me.

Does anybody know anything about this? Or has anyone in the business heard rumours of it at least?

That rings a bell. I think this was applied for before, a couple of years ago.

One side of the family come from dingle, so I'll see if i can get any info out of them. They'll know if it's a local guy or an "outsider" who's setting it up. I'll keep you posted on any extra info

That was very quick work there... you must be a bloody FFer with a direct line to the planning authorities!

Thanks for the info, I know the buildings etc where the proposed brewery would be. I'll ask at home to see if anyone knows the applicant, I certainly don't, but I wouldn't know too many down there anyway.

It'd be nice if it went ahead because there are dozens of pubs in the town, all of which serve good guinness and... oh yeah that's it, so some variety would be most welcome.

It's rare that they actually work, mind...
