I had a pint of Hooker in the Porterhouse on Saturday night, but it tasted slightly off. Well, off is not exactly it. It had a very noticable stout taste in it, like there was a drop of plain in it. Maybe they served plain from that tap the night before or something. Has anyone else noticed this? A real pity as I was introducing a friend to it.

I had a Galway Hooker in the Porterhouse Central last night and noticed it tasting slightly off as well. However I think I found out the reason when I went for another pint and they told me that the keg was empty. Don't know how well it sells in the Porterhouse as it isn't in the menu.
